Ciao tutto, Can anyone identify the brand or make of Benzina Filtro fitted to 1951 Competition C of Ernesto Longoni? Were they fitted to other makes of motorcycle or scooter?
Sarà il solito accessorio dell'epoca che veniva montato quando il carburatore ne era privo. Essendo la lambretta elaborata, anche il carburatore non era originale. Sicuramente si poteva montare su qualche altro scooter. saluti
Ciao, Frame and motor are original as sent by Innocenti to race in Australia in November 1951. The original petrol tank and front and rear guards were removed in 1957 and a new tank was made for it as in the photo. My corse machine is almost identical to that in Vittorio Tessera's book on page 200. Cheers. Peter
